How to deal with urban waste in China?

However, the waste incineration law has not been accepted by the public. Its disadvantages are more serious latent pollution, expensive, complicated operation and waste of resources.According to literature reports, each ton of garbage incineration will produce about 5,000 cubic meters of waste gas, leaving behind about half the original volume of ash residue.Today's best incineration equipment, in normal operation, will also release dozens of harmful substances, only through filtration, washing and adsorption method is difficult to purify all.
Among the harmful substances, dioxin is the most important one, which is internationally recognized as a first-grade carcinogen.Called "the most toxic poison on earth", dioxins are rarely found in nature and can only be produced chemically. They are 100 times more toxic than potassium cyanide and 900 times more toxic than arsenic.Dioxins have a half-life of 14-273 years and accumulate in the body.
